End of Summer Family Concert Featuring Rob Biagi

Location — Compass Bible Church Auditorium.

Rob Biagi is a high energy, Christian singer/songwriter for kids and adults alike. He's all for family, celebrates kids, and provides his concert audiences with non-stop fun from start to finish. Invite your family, friends and neighbors.

An opportunity for a 'Love Gift' for Rob Biagi and his family will be given the night of the concert as both Rob and his three year old daughter, Natalie, continue to battle Leukemia. Checks should be made out to Rob Biagi (not CBC) and may be dropped in the Rob Biagi Love Gift Box in the foyer (This is a non-deductible gift).

Kids hold a special place in Jesus' heart. That's why kids matter so deeply to Awana and to Compass Bible Church. We are committed to clearly and consistently proclaiming the Gospel, and to building up "approved... ...workmen... who correctly handle the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15).

Our time with our kids is precious and so very short. Our responsibility as parents is high. God's word clearly instructs parents to teach their children God's word and His ways. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it." AWANA provides a valuable tool for parents to help them lay a solid biblical foundation in the lives of their children.

AWANA is a systematic approach to studying God's word for kids 4 years of age through 6th grade. Kids learn the Bible through dynamic teaching and memorization of Bible verses, with an emphasis on understanding and applying God's word each week. With small group interaction, high-energy outdoor games, and deepening friendships, kids have a blast! The program uses positive incentives to promote and reward kids for participation as they develop healthy disciplines.

There's no greater privilege than participating in ministry and no greater joy than seeing your child grow in his or her understanding and application of God's word. Parents are highly encouraged to participate in this valuable ministry. A variety of positions are available with varying levels of responsibility and time commitments.

Kids Christmas Musical Parent Meeting

Mandatory Parent Meeting: In the upstairs 5th/6th grade classroom. Kids Choir Director, Nancy Evanston will be going over some very important information. Registration forms for your child are due at this time. Music book and CD available at the meeting.
