i think i was doing the law because i want to get to heaven and love God. but now i will do it only because i love God.
i keep thinking that if i had to die to save the world like Chirst i would do it so sometimes i think was it really that great what he did. but this is obviously wrong thinking of me so i have to stop. i need more understanding of it.

Pastor MIke,
Another poignant - hard to digest - but unbelievably important teaching in our walk with Christ. I too believe that “trying” is accepting failure in advance and that rewards for just showing up continue to tear at the already tattered fabric of our society - Understanding that The Law is a description of God - and that through the law we become conscious of sin and more importantly, that we ALL fall short, is a tough teaching to swallow. Especially knowing that in not keeping the law under God’s kingdom and HIS moral standard, demands that we be punished, or admit that GOD is not good, moral and just. Thank you Lord for Christ’s standard of righteousness. Thank you Lord for CBC and the Spirt that convicts us to keep the rules and put our full trust in the Lord.
