Application Questions:

1. Read Romans 11:33-36 and Psalm 145:1-3. Choose a biblical example of somebody who comes into the presence of God and study it. Why did they respond the way they did? What attributes of God draw a similar response from you?

2. Read Romans 2:6-8, 11:33-36 and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 10:31. Write down five ways you can intentionally glorify God this week and include a verse with each. How did this exercise impact how you lived this week?

3. Read Romans 1:21-23, 3:23, 11:33-36 and Matthew 5:14-16. How can a right understanding of the glory of God help you practically utilize both gospel proclamation and doing good works in your current evangelistic efforts?

4. Read Romans 11:33-36 and Psalm 119:1-48. The psalmist describes the word of God as his delight numerous times in Psalm 119. What can you learn from his life, as described in these verses, that can teach you to delight in God’s word?

5. Read Romans 11:33-36 and 1 Samuel 15:1-23. How would you use the example of Saul’s actions in 1 Samuel 15 to help explain to a new believer the difference between half-hearted devotion to God versus total devotion to God?
