I come from a church where many say it’s easy to follow Jesus. It’s not easy, it takes commitment and full devotion to Christ. Matthew 16:24 “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me”. Seems straight forward to me. I pray many will watch this sermon and commit their lives fully to Christ. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. I needed this reminder.

Thank you Pastor Alex for your message. I pray that it penetrates the hearts of the congregation and that more people start to see God for who he is instead of who they want him to be. Being a follower of Christ is hard, and worth every struggle. I appreciate your admonishment to those who “wear out” the pastoral staff. That needs to be preached every Sunday. Thank you for your faithfulness to preach God’s word while on your vacation. May God bless you richly.
