Pastor Mike Elliott 
Men's & Family Pastor

Mike grew up in a Pastor's home where he was taught the word of God and the importance of the Church. During his Sophomore year of college he felt the call to ministry and has pursued the pastorate ever since. He graduated with a Biblical Studies degree from Liberty University, and most recently he received his Master of Divinity (2009) and Master of Theology (2011) from The Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, California. Mike is married to Andrea and they have one son, Miles.

Jess Williams
Director, Men's Ministry

Jess oversees the many facets of our Men's Ministry at Compass Bible Church. He is passionate about seeing God's word strengthen and motivate the husbands, fathers and sons at CBC. Jess is a native Californian who studied Business Management and played football at Long Beach State University.

Jess and his wife, Christiane, have three daughters, Brittany, Brooke and Breeana.

Laura Smith
Assistant to the Men’s and Family Pastor
Assistant to Associate Pastor

Laura grew up in Orange County and is a graduate of the Master’s College. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in History. Laura has participated in a variety of ministries both locally and in Israel and Uganda. Laura has a great passion for the church which was fostered and developed throughout her college years. Laura serves as the assistant to Pastor Elliott and Pastor Lucas and is actively involved in leadership with her husband, Brad, in the Compass High School Ministry, True North.
