Gospel Crazy #3
Joyful About its Progress — Romans 1:8-10

Sermon Recap

1. Michael and Marci Harnish says:

Pastor Mike,

WOW! Another Grand Slam today…since Baseball terminology seems to fit in well with this teaching.  As we sat before our lunch after church today and prayed out loud for God to “open doors” it was probably the first time that we actually “beseeched” God with our complete hearts and souls to do just that! We are ready and willing to be obedient to the calling to go into the harvest field! We have often referred to the “Blank Check Analogy” (another Pastor Mike euphemism) that we are willing to serve any where, any place, any time. While that is still a great thing to do, this “open door”  aspect of praying is to ultimately hasten the return of our Lord! Our hearts grieve and mourn for those who do not know Christ personally, some of which are our own family members. Thank you for the clarity of this type of begging God to open doors for us to share the Gospel!
By the way, as far as you thinking that Marci and I sit in the back left (your left) due to Gatekeepers…..the truth is…..no one will sit next to us because of our tattoos! Ha! ha!
Grateful to Serve!

We Love you!

2. Kristen says:

Really appreciated this message, especially the clarification of the frequently used phrase “open doors.“ The accompanying video on http://www.studyingromans.com is also really great in helping to see how to go about this often daunting task that has been put before us.
