About the Thrive Ministry

Thrive meets on Thursday evenings from September through May each year. Each Thursday evening, we study a lesson from God's Word. Afterward, we break into small groups for discussion time. The small groups become quite close, as they remain together throughout the year, and also meet outside of Thursday evenings for small group dinners, accountability and prayer.

The schedule for CBC's Thursday evening Thrive Bible study is as follows:

• 6:15 p.m. - Free Dinner & Fellowship in the Compass Room (located in the rear of the Church offices at 140 Columbia, next door to the main building) Children are Welcome
• 6:40 p.m. - Children go next door for the AWANA program or infant/toddler ministries
• 6:45-8:15 p.m. - Thrive Bible Study & Small Groups

In addition to our Thursday evening Bible study, the Thrive Activities Team also hosts several fun Fellowship Events throughout the year for the entire group as a whole, including various service events.

We hope you will prayerfully consider committing yourself to this amazing resource that God has provided to our Church. We look forward to growing together with you in our walk with the Heavenly Father; joyfully and faithfully growing in our biblical roles in our marriage; and establishing wonderful friendships to encourage us in our quest to become closer to God.
