Stephanie Schwartz
Director of Women's Ministry

Stephanie earned her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from California State University Long Beach. Stephanie is currently pursuing a Master's degree at Talbot School of Theology. Before joining the Compass staff, Stephanie taught high school math and science and served in a variety of ministry capacities in the church. Stephanie teaches our women's Bible studies, trains our women's ministry leaders and engages in biblical counseling and discipleship.

Stephanie and her husband Richard have three children: Benjamin, Hannah and Abigail.

Nanci McMannis
Director of Women's Counseling

Nanci earned her Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s College. Together, Nanci and her husband Bob, have four grown children and one granddaughter. A fourth generation Californian, Nanci has worked in a variety of occupations over the years including: writer, editor, teacher, hostess, and caregiver. She considers herself privileged to serve the women of Compass by bringing hope and truth from God’s Word. Nanci is a NANC-certified biblical counselor and represents Compass on the Biblical Counseling & Discipleship Association of Southern California.

Sarah Winkler
Assistant to Women's Ministry

Sarah earned her Bachelor's degree in Marketing from American University in Washington, DC. Over the past five years she has been very involved in the Women's Ministry programs at Compass, specifically Navigating Motherhood and EGGstravaganza. In addition to homeschooling her children, she is excited to be taking on the role of Assistant to Women's Ministry. Sarah and her husband Troy reside in San Clemente and have three children: Daniel, Kate and Christa.
