This last weekend, our journey through the Psalms brought us to what is perhaps the greatest of Israel's Greatest Hits - Psalm 23. This song of David famously looks at God as our shepherd - a leader, provider, and protector. We chose songs that emphasized these same themes.

The chorus of "All the Way My Savior Leads Me" quotes this Psalm directly:

"You lead me and keep me from falling
You carry me close to your heart
And surely your goodness and mercy will follow me"
