Important Information:
- CBI Weekend Intensive: It’s not too late to sign up for the CBI Weekend Intensive, scheduled for July 14-16! Jeremy Kimble will be teaching on Biblical Theology!
- Women & Faith: Women and Faith will start on June 8 and meet weekly for 15 weeks. This is a great ministry for women who are new to the faith or are wanting to brush up on the basics of the Christian faith.
- Summer Storytime: For those in your group that have children (or grandchildren) ages 2-5, Summer Storytime will be held on June 12. This is another great outreach event to invite friends to.
Application Questions:
1. Read Psalm 90:1-2 and Hebrews 11:13-16. Why was the concept of a “dwelling place” a major focus for the patriarchs and the wandering Israelites? What does it mean for God to be an immovable home for his people?
2. Read Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 and Hebrews 10:31. Why must Christians regularly remember the reality of God’s wrath? What happens to your spiritual life if you become indifferent about God’s righteous anger towards sin?
3. Read Psalm 39:4-5 and Luke 12:15-21. What earthly things take the majority of your mental energy in this season of life? How does Jesus’ parable about a rich fool help correct some of your priorities?
4. Read Psalm 90:12 and Ephesians 5:15-17. How would you be more godly and wise if you were better at numbering your days? What new opportunities has God recently given you to serve him?
5. Read Psalm 130. What lessons do you glean from this song about trusting God and waiting to witness more of his steadfast love?
