    • Pastor Mike can now be heard on KWAVE Radio on Monday through Friday nights at 7pm. This is an exciting new way for people in the area to hear the gospel – please have your group pray for this radio placement to help reach even more souls in our community.

Application Questions:

1. Read Jeremiah 17:9-10 and Matthew 15:18-20.  Why do you think people generally avoid introspection and contemplating their sins?  What is the danger of trying to ignore sinful impulses and actions?
2. Read 1 John 3:8.  How does this verse and its ties to such large biblical themes help you to see sin for what it is, and begin to rightly consider the importance of what Christ came to do in your life?
3. Read Romans 5:6-11 and 1 Timothy 1:12-17. What is the most motivating part of these important passages?  What does it prompt you to do?  How does it challenge the way you think about God’s grace?
4. Read Psalm 32:3-6.  Why is it important, when considering the topic of God’s grace, to underscore this related topic?  How would you encourage someone to be responsive to this kind of conviction of the Holy Spirit?
5. Read Romans 5:20 – 6:4.  How would you describe to someone that God’s costly grace granted to us in Christ, if rightly understood, is never an excuse or permission to keep on sinning?
