2 Samuel: Depending on God's Promises

September 11-12th, 2018 – May 2019
Tuesdays at 9:30am & 6:30pm | Wednesdays at 9:30am
Meets in the Auditorium

Prepare for an incredible adventure discovering the faithful character of our God through the remarkable book of 2 Samuel. We will see King David take the throne of Israel, be blessed for his humble obedience, and receive God’s marvelous promise of the eternal King from his own line. In spite of his tremendous spiritual successes, David falls hard. When exposed by the Lord, although David responds with repentance, he still must live with the severe consequences of his sin. David’s life will teach us that while bad decisions lead to regret, wise choices positively impact our lives now and forever. Ultimately, 2 Samuel points us to our need for a perfect King and reminds us of our future hope in Jesus Christ.

Persistent Love: A Journey Through the Book of Hosea

June 12-13 – July 10-11 – August 7-8
Meets in the Auditorium

Gather together with us this summer as we spend three full sessions in the text of Hosea. This ancient book reveals God’s persistent love for his people through the shocking illustration of a righteous husband and his unfaithful wife. We will explore the relationship between the prophet Hosea and his wayward wife, Gomer, comparing their relationship to that of God and his people, learning about our great spiritual need, God’s redemptive love in Christ, and his demand upon those who belong to him to live consistently with our calling.
