Kellen grew up in Arlington, Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and a master’s degree in Human Resources from Long Island University (NY), where he also played collegiate basketball. He is currently pursuing an M.Div at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Kellen oversees the Men’s, Adult Bible Fellowship and Compass Active ministries at Compass.

Kellen and his wife, Chelsea, have been married since 2012 and have four children, Bryce, Blake, Tristan and Caleb.
